About the Job:
As a QI Technician you will be responsible for the first level ATE and bench level testing of customre returned units. Works from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Utilizes manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, VOD, DVM, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Creates reports describing the results of the testing and debug for both internal and customer use.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree and 1
years experience
Must be able to interrogate test bench software results
Must be very detailed oriented in collecting and recording all of the relevant data associated with job tasks
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
Software experience in C, C+
is a major plus
Some experience in testing either hardware or software is a plus
Proficient in operating and doing basic debug on ATE and bench testing is a plus
